When Quai D’Orsay moved from being a regional brand – made exclusively for the French market – to a global brand in 2005, it gradually became clear that the global market wasn’t as enthusiastic about the slender sizes the brand was known for.
As a result, in 2017 the brand began releasing more standard sizes with thicker ring gauges – including the No.50. The blend also became stronger, but maintains a medium-bodied delicacy which makes it suitable for both novice and experienced smokers. This Rothschild-sized cigar smokes for about 45 minutes and imparts strong herbal notes with light spice and a natural sweetness reminiscent of caramel.
