Khyati or Dolichos lablab is a bush variety of the Surti Papdi bean. Ideal for those with smaller spaces, it has attractive white flowers and delicious pods that can be used for dishes like Undhiyu. Beans can also be shelled and used to make Surti Papdi Lilva shaak, where the green bean seeds are shelled and cooked with spices, onions, garlic and ginger.
